Making Stitched Ones

I ran out of my favorite fabric for the sachet dolls I make, so I had to thing something out. I found a bit of old cotton (which actually may be called vintage, I'm sure it is at least as old as me) and decided to dye it with black tea.

Tea dying appeared to be a great thing! Very nice, tender color - light beige, just the one I wanted. Now I'm making three lovely herbal creatures and enjoy lavender, chamomile and sage scents ;)
